Debargha Sarkar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Debargha is currently serving as the Head of Product Management and Associate Director of Supply Chain Management at Navin Fluorine International Ltd. In this role, they manage the end-to-end supply chain for a $20 million annual direct spend. Prior to this, Debargha worked at the Deshpande Foundation as the Lead Strategy and Innovation in the CEO's office. Debargha played a significant role in addressing challenges in rural and semi-urban regions, focusing on areas such as agriculture, skill development, and entrepreneurship. Before that, Debargha worked at SRF Limited, where they held multiple positions including Executive Assistant to the CEO and Senior Process Design Engineer. Debargha successfully managed project portfolios, reduced time to market by 20%, and contributed to the design and validation of chemical manufacturing processes.

Debargha Sarkar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech, Hons) + M.tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 2008 to 2012. Debargha attended KV IIT Kharagpur from 2006 to 2008 for their XII th Board, affiliated to CBSE, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English. Prior to that, from 1994 to 2006, they completed their Xth Board, ICSE, at Sacred heart high school, Kharagpur. Debargha Sarkar also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Executives from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, in 2019-2020.
