Ronen Lavi

Ronen Lavi is the CEO and Co-Founder of Navina. Ronen previously served as the Head of National Cyber Strategy Council in the Israeli Prime Minister's Office from December 2016 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing the nation's plan to leverage the strength of Israel's cyber capabilities, ensure the country maintains its cyber dominance, and thwart potential threats.

Prior to their role in the Prime Minister's Office, Lavi served in the Israel Defense Forces for over 20 years, including as the Chief of the Artificial Intelligence Lab from April 1994 to November 2016. In this role, they established and led the Artificial Intelligence Lab of Israel's Military Intelligence. The Lab collaborated with the private sector, including leading high-tech companies and academia, to develop cross-functional ​platforms that provide insight into areas challenged by large, diverse and complex amounts of data​.

Lavi's experience in both the public and private sector have made him a leading expert in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Their work has been instrumental in helping Israel maintain its position as a world leader in these cutting-edge fields.
