Edson Fernandes has over 25 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry, currently serving as Customer Experience - Pan India at Navio Shipping since January 2022. Prior to this role, Edson worked at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services as DGM, where responsibilities included the transition of documentation activities and monitoring finance and accounting operations from May 2013 to March 2021. Experience also includes serving as Documentation Manager at MOL from January 2007 to May 2013, overseeing export and import documentation, and as Assistant Manager at PONL/MAERSK from 1995 to 2006, focusing on documentation, terminal operations, and reefer customer service. Edson holds an Associate’s Degree in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Benchmark Six Sigma, a Bachelor’s Degree in BSC from K J Somaiya College of Science & Commerce, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade Management from NMIMS CDOE, and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and Management from The ICFAI University, Tripura.
