Rene Alvarenga

Rene Alvarenga has extensive experience in product management, having held roles at World Food Programme as a UN Senior Design Product Manager, at Navis as a Product Manager and Product Consultant, and most recently at GE Transportation and Navis as a Senior Director of Product Management. In their roles, they have been responsible for leading product management teams, implementing agile methodologies, driving customer engagement, managing financial decisions, and overseeing the development and launch of various products in the logistics, supply chain, and industrial digital solutions space. Alvarenga's experience also includes managing customer relationships, data analytics teams, and large teams of engineers, with a strong focus on user adoption and product innovation.

Rene Alvarenga obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2007-2009. Rene then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009-2010. Later on, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida in 2013-2015. In 2022, Rene Alvarenga obtained certification as an OKR Certified Coach from Expert in the Outcome Mindset Method.
