Thomas Bakker

Thomas Bakker has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on product development, management, and project leadership. Thomas served in various roles at Navis LLC, including Director of Software Engineering and Sr. Project Manager. Thomas also worked as a Senior Product Manager at ArcWW, where they were responsible for developing commerce-oriented web applications. Currently, Thomas is the Principal Solutions Architect at Navis, leading product development for non-functional attributes of the Navis N4 TOS and serving as the product owner for the Navis Smart Platform.

Thomas Bakker completed their Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley from 1980 to 1983. Thomas then pursued their Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Hydrodynamics at the University of Michigan from 1984 to 1985.
