Omkar Paranjape

Omkar Paranjape has extensive work experience in project management, program management, and cloud services. Omkar currently serves as the Director of the Project Management Office at Navisite, where they lead a team of professionals to achieve business expansion goals. Prior to this role, they were the Principal Program Manager at Navisite, providing direction to a team and overseeing contract pipeline activities. Omkar also worked at Velocity Technology Solutions, where they held various roles including Squad Leader Senior in Cloud Services and Manager in Data Center Optimization. Omkar was also the Global Backup and Disaster Recovery Manager, responsible for leading the disaster recovery program and backup operations. Before joining Navisite, Omkar worked as a Senior Network Security Administrator at Tech Mahindra.

Omkar Paranjape earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which they attended from 2006 to 2008. Omkar then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in ITIL V3 Foundation from PEOPLECERT in 2014 and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020.
