Jacob Riley

Jacob Riley has a diverse work experience in the pharmacy field. Jacob started their career as an Inpatient Pharmacy Intern at Hennepin County Medical Center, where they performed medication reconciliation, verified the accuracy of medications, and educated patients on pharmaceutical care. Jacob also worked as a Pharmacy Technician at the same company, where they trained new employees and engaged in workflow improvement projects. Jacob then became a Pharmaceutical Care Clinician at Phillips Neighborhood Clinic, where they performed patient visits, counseled patients on their care plan and prescribed medications, and scheduled follow-up visits. Currently, Jacob is the Clinical Prior Authorization Lead Pharmacist at Navitus Health Solutions.

Jacob Riley obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota - College of Science and Engineering in 2011. Jacob then pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, completing it in 2016.

Jacob has also obtained various certifications including licensure as a Pharmacist from the California State Board of Pharmacy in 2021, the Texas State Board of Pharmacy in 2019, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in 2016, and the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy in 2016. Additionally, they have certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association's Professional Education Center in 2012, and CITI Human Subjects Research Training from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative at the University of Miami (year not specified).
