Steve Conafay

Steve Conafay is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. As the Founder and Principal of The Conafay Group since November 2012, Conafay leads a team of over 15 experts, providing services such as non-dilutive funding acquisition, Congressional relationship building, and federal lobbying. Additionally, as the D.C. Counsel for the Antimicrobials Working Group, Conafay manages advocacy and outreach efforts for the antimicrobials industry and its legislation. Conafay also serves on the Board of NAVREF and has held significant roles at Fabiani & Co, Shandwick, the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America, Jones Day, Glaxo, and Pfizer. Conafay holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from American University and a BA in Economics from Kenyon College.
