Nicholas Nicolaides

Nicholas Nicolaides has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Nicholas is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Navrogen since June 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at Morphotek, Inc. from May 2000 to May 2018. Nicholas also worked as the Director of R&D at Magainin Pharmaceuticals Inc. from April 1996 to April 2001.

Nicholas Nicolaides obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology from Saint Joseph's University between 1983 and 1987. Nicholas went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Genetics at Thomas Jefferson University, completing their studies from 1989 to 1992. In 1993, Nicolaides joined The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a Post Doctoral Fellow, focusing on Oncology. It is worth noting that they earned another PhD in Human Genetics from Thomas Jefferson University during the same time period they were pursuing their first PhD.
