Tom Silva

Chief software guru and code spelunker at NAVSYS Corporation

Tom Silva has an extensive work experience in the field of telemetry and software development. Tom has worked at NAVSYS Corporation since 2013 as the Chief Software Guru and Code Spelunker. Prior to that, they founded and managed their own company, The Telemetry Workshop, since 1993 where they designed and developed WinDecom, a telemetry decommutation and command system. Tom also worked on various large programs for NASA and the U.S. Additionally, Tom has worked as a telemetry guru at United Space Alliance from 1995 to 2011 and at NASA - Johnson Space Center from 1982 to 2010, specializing in telemetry and command for the Space Shuttle and its payloads.

Tom Silva attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1978 to 1982. During their time there, they studied Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering.
