Lawrence C. Delemar

Lawrence C. Delemar has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Lawrence C. started their career in 1998 as a Central Office Technician at Verizon, where they provided Tier III technical support for DSL services and managed maintenance and provisioning activities for local and retail clients. Lawrence C. also performed network data support for Internet service providers, business and residential customers. Lawrence then worked as a Tier II Technical Support Specialist at Verizon, troubleshooting DSL network matters and configuring static IP addresses in network and customer routers. Lawrence C. later became a Fiber Network Engineer at Verizon, where they managed Tier II triage trouble reports and fault isolation.

In 2017, Lawrence joined KJL Management as a Cloud Engineer, where they provided a roadmap for design and implementation for the next generation network and migrated to cloud service via AWS. Lawrence C. also performed duties such as Cloud Server and Virtual Server management, as well as architecting and implementing solutions for AWS cloud environments.

Since 2018, Lawrence has been working at Navteca as a Systems Engineer. In this role, they provide technical leadership in IT, Information Security, Storage Technology, and Computer Science disciplines. Lawrence C. is the Lead Engineer on the CI/CD Pipeline Development Team for ITCD (NASA) and is responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud resources.

Lawrence C. Delemar obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Systems and Computer Science from Howard University in 2006. In 2015, they pursued further education and earned a Bachelor of Science in IT - Security with a focus on Cybersecurity from Western Governors University. Additionally, during their educational journey, Lawrence obtained several certifications. In 2015, they obtained the CompTIA A+ certification, followed by the CompTIA Security+ certification in 2017. In 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification. Currently, Lawrence is in the process of obtaining the AWS Developer - Associate certification and the CompTIA Linux+ certification.
