Luis Rodrigues Teixeira

Luis Rodrigues Teixeira has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Luis began their career as a Research Assistant at IVIC, where they worked on high-level projects related to computational chemistry. Luis participated in activities such as parallelization, debugging, and optimization algorithms implementation.

Teixeira then moved on to PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where they served as a GIS Developer and Project Leader. Luis'sresponsibilities included analyzing customer issues, providing resolutions, and ensuring data integrity and quality assurance for web applications related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

After that, Teixeira joined IUNIKA as an Embedded Software Developer, working on design and development of embedded software applications. Luis also provided support in preparing application architecture and design documents.

Teixeira then joined Experis as a Full Stack Developer, where they worked on designing and developing relational databases and large-scale web-based PHP applications for the Endesa account.

Luis'snext role was at InsightMedi, where they held the positions of CTO, Co-Founder, and Senior Full Stack Engineer. Luis was responsible for leading the development process, including designing and implementing the architecture of the entire solution based on business requirements, as well as QA and Data Protection processes.

Teixeira also worked as a Freelance Voice App Engineer before joining Navteca as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. In their role at Navteca, they led the development process and was responsible for architectural design and implementation, as well as QA and Data Protection processes.

Luis Rodrigues Teixeira pursued their education at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from 1995 to 2001. Following this, from 2007 to 2009, Luis further expanded their educational background by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Artificial Intelligence, also from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. In addition to their formal education, Luis obtained a certification in "Learning the Model-View-Controller Design Pattern in iOS" from LinkedIn in December 2018.
