Angelos Ikonomakis

Angelos Ikonomakis is currently a Product Manager at NAVTOR, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Performance platform, as well as guiding new project initiatives. Previously, Angelos served as Vessel Insights Lead, focusing on vessel performance models and optimization projects. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research and Development Scientist at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where scientific methodologies were applied to business challenges, and as a Data Scientist in Maersk Oil Trading, where an R package for bunker stock performance analysis was developed. Angelos also worked as a Data Analyst at Vodafone, overseeing data analytics for targeted campaigns. Additionally, a background in military service includes organizing battalion jumps in the Hellenic Army. Angelos holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from DTU, alongside various degrees in data science, international marketing, and computer science.
