Director Of Quality Control/assurance at Navvis

Angela Monroe, BS-HCM, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Angela is currently working at Navvis as the Director of Quality Control/Assurance since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Quality Assurance from June 2022 to February 2023 and as a Quality Assurance Analyst from October 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Navvis, Angela worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as the Sleep Medicine Program Director from February 2018 to September 2021.

From August 2015 to October 2017, Angela was employed at Orlando Health as the Sleep Medicine Program Manager. Angela'sresponsibilities included overseeing the operation and strategic alignment of a multi-site outpatient service-line, providing technical support and training, and managing acquisition systems budget analysis.

Before that, Angela held the role of Sleep Medicine Program Lead and Scoring Technologist at Orlando Health from August 2011 to August 2015. Angela demonstrated proficiency in scoring and report generation of sleep studies and had competency in multiple diagnostic hardware and software technologies.

Prior to their time at Orlando Health, Angela worked as an Operations Supervisor - Nightshift at Precision Health Concepts – Sleep Disorders Centers from July 2007 to August 2011. Angela supervised the night-time operations of the Sleep Disorders Center and provided mentorship to techs.

Angela's career in healthcare started at Florida Hospital DeLand as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and Scoring Technologist from May 2004 to November 2007. Angela performed overnight sleep studies, scoring, and transcription.

Angela also worked at Central Florida Neurologic Consultants, PA as an Office Coordinator and Electroneurodiagnostic Technician from September 1996 to April 2004. In this role, they managed day-to-day operations of the physician practice and performed Nerve Conduction Studies under physician supervision.

Angela's early experience includes working as an Electroencephalogram Tech at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial from November 2000 to September 2002.

Angela Monroe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the Oregon Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2017. Angela also holds a certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, which they obtained in January 2006.
