Jon Murdock, AAMS™, CRPC™, CRPS™, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jon began their career in 1986 in the US Navy, where they served as an Interior Communications Electrician for 20 years. After leaving the Navy, Jon joined the University of Phoenix as a Senior Enrollment Advisor for the Western Washington Campus. Jon later transitioned to the role of National Defense Liaison-Military Division, covering Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. In 2015, Jon joined Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor, where they worked until 2022. During this time, they also served as Vice President of the Tacoma Council for the Navy League of the United States. In 2022, Jon joined Hohimer Wealth Management as the Director of Retirement Plan Services before returning to Edward Jones in 2023 as a Financial Advisor. With their extensive experience in finance and leadership roles, Jon brings a strong background to their current position.

Jon began their academic journey in 2004 at Excelsior University, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Technical Studies. In 2005, Jon went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Administrative Management from the same institution.

Seeking further knowledge, Jon pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Phoenix from 2010 to 2011. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Higher and Post Secondary Education from Argosy University between 2012 and 2013.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jon has gained valuable certifications to enhance their career in financial planning.
