Reggie Howard

Captain Howard is currently employed at BAE systems as Director for Customer Requirements and Advocacy. He joined BAE Systems in January of 2018, serving as Director of Government Affairs until November of 2020.

Captain Howard began his defense and aerospace career as a naval officer and aviator. He was commissioned as a naval flight officer in the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Community in 1991 and served in the U.S. Navy for more than 28 years. His operational Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft tours include Patrol Squadron 40, Whidbey Island, WA; Patrol Squadron 45, Jacksonville, FL; Commander of Patrol Squadron 5, Jacksonville, FL; and major command of Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing 57, Manama, Bahrain.

Captain Howard also completed multiple staff tours in the Pentagon to include Deputy Executive Assistant to the Director of Naval Aviation Warfare (N98), Strategic Lead on Navy Quadrennial Defense review (2010 & 2014), Deputy Division Chief for C4 Joint Staff (J6), Multi-Mission Branch Head N98, Senior Fellow on the CNO Strategic Studies Group (SSG) and the Deputy Director, Operations and Plans (N3/N5).

Reggie holds a B.S. in General Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy; M.S. in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
