NAYA Family Center
Sky Waters has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Wealth Management Intern at Merrill Lynch in 2012, followed by a Securities Analyst Intern role at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. In 2013, they joined Fisher Investments as a Portfolio Analytics & Reporting expert and later transitioned to a Research Associate role focused on Capital Markets Innovation. In 2017, Sky joined NAYA Family Center as a Business Innovation Coordinator, then went on to become the Community Development Manager. Currently, Sky holds the position of Interim Community Development Director at NAYA.
Sky Waters attended the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. In 2012, they participated in the Summer Venture in Management Program at Harvard Business School.

NAYA Family Center's mission is "to enhance the diverse strengths of our youth and families in partnership with the community through cultural identity and education." The Native American Youth and Family Center in Portland, Oregon, works to enrich the lives of our Native youth and families through education, community involvement, and culturally specific programming. We have provided educational services, cultural arts programming, and direct support to reduce poverty to the Portland metropolitan area's American Indian and Alaska Native community for over 40 years.
