Danish A. Lakhani

Danish A. Lakhani has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and positions.

In 2000, Danish started working at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer in DWDM Engineering, where they worked until 2002.

In 2008, they joined CYBERNET as the Chief Executive Officer, a position they held for several years.

In 2018, Danish became the President of the Harvard Business School Club of Pakistan, serving in that role until 2021.

In 2019, they founded NayaPay and became the Founder and CEO of the company.

Also in 2019, Danish joined APNIC Foundation as a Board Member. In 2021, they took on the additional role of Chair within the organization.

Finally, in 2019, Danish became a Member of the Board of Directors for Ignite (National ICT R&D Fund - Government of Pakistan), a position they held until 2022.

Danish A. Lakhani pursued their education in a chronological manner starting from their early years at Karachi Grammar School, where they completed their schooling between 1981 and 1996. Danish then went on to attend Brown University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Computer Science & Business Economics. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, studying there from 2002 to 2004. Danish's educational journey culminated with an MBA from Harvard Business School, where they specialized in General Management, attending from 2006 to 2008.
