Sasanka Konar

Sasanka Konar has over 30 years of work experience in the petrochemical industry. SASANKA has held various roles at different companies, including Nayara Energy, Essar Oil, Aker Solutions, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Reliance Industries Limited, Oswal Petrochemicals, and ICI Polyethylene. Their most recent position was as the Vice President - Process and Technology, Petrochemicals at Nayara Energy. SASANKA has held leadership positions such as Vice President, General Manager, and Project Manager throughout their career.

Sasanka Konar earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, and Technology from the University College of Science and Technology in Kolkata from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1984, they completed a BSc Honors degree in Chemistry, studying Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, at R.K. Mission Vidyamandir Belur.
