Gal Omer

Gal Omer has a strong background in the legal profession, with experience in compliance and privacy matters. In their most recent role as Chief Compliance Officer at Nayax, they are responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Prior to this, Gal served as a Partner at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co., where they specialized in privacy law. Gal also held the role of Research Advisory Board Member at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Gal began their legal career as an Associate at S. Horowitz & Co. and gained further experience as a Legal Intern at the same firm. Gal is knowledgeable in CIPP/E and CIPP/US certifications, demonstrating their expertise in privacy protection. Additionally, Gal has served as the KnowledgeNet Chapter Chair at the IAPP.

Gal Omer holds a graduate certificate in Cyber Security from Harvard University, which was obtained between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, Gal obtained an LL.B in Law from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Gal obtained a B.A. in Philosophy and International Relations from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2005 to 2008.
