Darragh Gillane has a diverse range of work experience in the construction industry. Darragh started their career as a Project Engineer at Hegarty Demolition Ltd, where they were responsible for various aspects of projects, including health and safety compliance, quality assurance, and cost management. After that, they joined Heery International Ltd as a Construction Manager, working on the redevelopment of the St Enoch Shopping Centre in Glasgow. In this role, they managed trades, handled trade recommendations and negotiations with clients, and oversaw the interior fitout. Later, Darragh joined Naylor Love as a Project Manager, where they successfully delivered projects such as Park Residences, a mixed-use development, and assisted the team in project delivery. Currently, they are working as a Project Director for Naylor Love, leading the team for a large office block project at Sylvia Park.
Darragh Gillane's education history begins at St. Clements College from 1994 to 2000, where they did not pursue a degree or field of study. Darragh then went on to attend Limerick Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Diploma in Civil Engineering, with no specified field of study. Later, they enrolled at the University of Dundee from 2003 to 2005, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
