Shim Fook Loong

Shim Fook Loong has held various roles throughout their career. Shim is currently serving as the Head of Corporate Finance at Naza Corporation Holdings Sdn. Bhd since September 2021. In this position, they are responsible for group-wide restructuring, debt assessment, asset rationalization, and corporate reorganization.

Prior to their current role, Shim Fook Loong worked as the Group Chief Financial Officer at GVE Asia from July 2021 to September 2021.

Shim also has extensive experience in a government-linked company (GLC) where they served as the SVP of Financial Reporting & Budget Management from January 2010 to March 2021.

Earlier in their career, Shim Fook Loong held key managerial positions at Bursa Malaysia Berhad, MESDAQ Berhad, Genting Malaysia Berhad, and MWE Holdings BHD. Shim also worked as a Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young and as an Audit Senior at WK Tan & Co.

Throughout their career, Shim Fook Loong has demonstrated their expertise in financial management, reporting, budgeting, and strategic business planning. Shim has also been involved in successful IPO listings, performance improvement initiatives, and implementation of ERP systems.

Shim Fook Loong completed a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom from 1994 to 1998.
