Jay Tharp

Jay Tharp has extensive experience in marketing communications and product management, spanning over three decades in the graphic arts and printing industries. Currently, Jay serves as the Marketing Communications Director at Nazdar, a position held since January 1997, following previous roles within the same company as Marketing Communications Manager and Technical Sales Representative. Prior to joining Nazdar, Jay worked at Sericol from 1988 to 1997, where responsibilities included roles as Publicity Coordinator and Product Manager for both Graphic Inks and Equipment. Early career positions included Production and Computer Graphics Artist at Kansas City Poster Display and Graphics Department Supervisor at ASI Sign Systems, among others. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphics and Illustration from The University of Kansas, complemented by studies at Kansas State University.
