Melinda Ferguson is an accomplished publisher and editor with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as Publisher at Melinda Ferguson Books since February 2020, Melinda has facilitated the release of over 70 titles. As Publisher at MFBooks with Jacana Media since June 2016, notable achievements include the award-winning publication of over 35 titles, such as the Sunday Times Alan Paton Winner "Rape: A South African Nightmare" by Pumla Gqola. Melinda’s earlier roles include Features Editor and Senior Journalist at True Love Magazine from June 2006 to January 2015, with additional experience at Media 24 between 2010 and 2012. Academic qualifications encompass multiple honors degrees in publishing from the University of the Witwatersrand and the School of Hidden Meanings, alongside a background in English and History from Roosevelt High School.
