Chantel K. Smith is the Director of Global Marketing Partnerships & Events at the National Basketball Association (NBA). Previously, they served as a Manager in Marketing Partnerships at the NBA and held several positions including Manager of Business Development for Corporate Partners at the National Football League (NFL), and Corporate Communications Manager at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide. Their experience includes successful event management and corporate communications at Ford Motor Company, where they co-created award-winning media events. Chantel currently pursues a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Information and Technoculture at The University of Western Ontario and a Public Relations Certificate at Humber College.
