Esteban Rivera

Esteban Rivera is a data scientist and the Player Health & Data Analytics Lead at the NBA, where they focus on integrating data-driven insights into sports. With a strong background in healthcare and analytics, Esteban has also served as the Associate Director of Data Science and Economics at the Global Healthy Living Foundation. They began their career in 2019 as a Statcast Data Quality Intern at MLB Advanced Media and continue to write about baseball as a freelance contributor for FanGraphs and Pinstripe Alley. Esteban holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Levy Economics Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bard College.
