Mario A. Pompeo is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and audit across various industries. Currently serving as SVP & Chief Accounting Officer at the National Basketball Association since June 2020, Mario oversees global accounting operations, payroll, tax, treasury, procurement, and financial information systems. Previous roles include Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer at Conduent, Senior VP Finance and CFO at Stuart Weitzman Holdings, and extensive auditing experience at CHANEL and Cendant Corp. Mario founded Financial Leaders in Luxury & Fashion in the Greater New York City Area and served as a U.S. Army Officer. An alumnus of Penn State University with a B.S. in Accounting, Mario combines strategic financial leadership with a strong background in audit and compliance.
