Mark Larsen

Director, Safety & Flight Operations at National Business Aviation Association

Mark Larsen has over 17 years of work experience in the aviation industry. Mark started their career as a Flight Instructor at Dulles Aviation in 2005 and worked there until 2009. In 2004, they joined the National Business Aviation Association and held multiple positions throughout their tenure. Mark started as a Coordinator in the Operations Service Group and later became a Specialist. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Project Manager responsible for operations and web development. In 2014, they were promoted to Senior Manager in the Safety & Flight Operations department. Currently, Mark Larsen serves as the Director of Safety & Flight Operations at the National Business Aviation Association.

Mark Larsen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Aviation Management from the University of North Dakota, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications as a Commercial Aircraft Pilot and an Aircraft Flight Instructor from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2004. Mark also holds the certification of Certified Aviation Manager from the National Business Aviation Association, which they obtained in 2015. Furthermore, they recently completed the In-Person Adult Mental Health First Aid course provided by MHFA in January 2023.
