Previously, Chris spent nearly nine years as a consumer news reporter at WTVT-TV, providing video reports for major markets and earning 11 regional Emmy Awards for reporting and writing. Earlier career experience includes roles as a news reporter at WFLA-TV, The Tampa Tribune, Tampa Bay Online, and as a television newsperson with The Associated Press. Chris Chmura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication (News Broadcasting) from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.
