Currently serving as a Satellite Technician and Lead Radar Operator at NBC Bay Area since January 1992, Hans provides critical transmission services for KNTV news crews and trained to operate the West Coast StormRanger Doppler weather radar as of 2016. Additional roles include operating satellite news vehicles for NBC, with previous positions at various media organizations, including Captain of Control and Audio Operator at KNTV and Camera Operator at Cathedral of Faith. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Journalism from San Jose State University and an A.A. in German from De Anza College.
