Michael Horn

Michael Horn is an experienced professional with a diverse background in photography, firefighting, and community service. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Central Coast Prescribed Burn Association and a member of the Board of Directors for FIRE SAFE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Michael Horn focuses on developing fire management programs and community training initiatives. With a long tenure at NBC Bay Area as Special Projects Director Of Photography, Producer, and UAS Pilot, Michael Horn leads creative visual storytelling projects. Additionally, Michael Horn operates a successful freelance cinematography business and has held various roles in the fire service, including as a firefighter with the North Monterey County Fire Protection District. Michael Horn holds a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management and Policy with a focus on Fire Ecology and has completed multiple relevant educational programs.
