Jen Maxfield

Jen Maxfield is an experienced journalist and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University since January 2024 and as a Reporter and Substitute Anchor at NBC New York since April 2013. Previously, Jen held positions at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism as an Adjunct Professor from January 2015 to December 2023, and worked as a General Assignment Reporter at abc7NY from October 2002 to January 2013. Earlier career experiences include reporting roles at WIXT-TV and WIVT-TV, along with positions as a Production Assistant and Guest Booker at CNNfn and an intern at CNN. Jen Maxfield holds a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University.
