Carlos Olazagasti is an Emmy Award-winning news photographer currently working at NBC Washington since January 2020. With prior experience at NBC News as a freelance Intake/Ingest specialist and as a photographer/editor at Hearst Television, Carlos has a strong background in capturing and editing political stories. Previous roles include photojournalist at FOX 45 WBFF-TV Baltimore, audio editor at Sirius XM Radio Inc., and associate producer at WEAA 88.9 FM. Carlos holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland, earned between 2006 and 2010.
