Allan Freedman Ms

Allan Freedman, MS, SHRM-SCP has a rich work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Allan began their career as the Executive Director of Business Management at the National Association of Home Builders from 1993 to 2001. Allan then served as the Vice President of Workforce Development at Associated Builders and Contractors from 2001 to 2004, where they successfully rebuilt relations between the national association and the local chapter network. Following that, they became the Managing Director of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) from 2004 to 2009, where they oversaw the development and delivery of key programs, including a gala event recognizing top contributors to public-private partnerships in transportation infrastructure. After their tenure at ARTBA, Allan worked as the Executive Director of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) from 2009 to 2013, where they led a successful review of operations resulting in unanimously approved recommendations by the board. Their most recent role was at the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as the Executive Vice President from 2013 to 2016, and then as the Chief Operating Officer. During their time at NBCOT, they focused on innovation and revenue generation, which led to the creation of innovative products and services and the establishment of a reserve portfolio five times the annual budget. Allan has a proven track record of streamlining operations, improving efficiencies, and developing strategic industry partnerships to achieve organizational goals.

Allan Freedman, MS, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master's of Science degree in Business & Financial Management from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. Allan also has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Allan Freedman completed their high school education at Ellesmere College in Shrophire, United Kingdom. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in February 2016.
