National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Dr. Konah Bernard OTD serves as the CEO and Founder of Unique Scholars Tutoring Services since January 2013, specializing in providing premier tutoring services throughout an Occupational Therapy career, with a focus on Board preparation, career planning, and mentorship. In addition, Dr. Bernard holds the position of Ambassador for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) since February 2023 and previously served as President and Conference Chair for the District of Columbia Occupational Therapy Association from February 2013 to June 2019. Dr. Bernard also contributed as Adjunct Faculty at Howard University from August 2010 to December 2014, delivering clinical and theoretical instruction in graduate-level Occupational Therapy courses. Dr. Bernard's educational background includes a Doctor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Howard University, a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Howard University, and a Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork from the National Massage Therapy Institute Virginia.
