Elizabeth Mavetz

Elizabeth Mavetz is an experienced professional in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with a strong background in managing teams and programs across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of GRC Governance at NBCUniversal since July 2022, Elizabeth oversees a team of four and is responsible for the Cyber Governance program, including strategic planning and budgeting. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held the position of Manager of Information Security GRC at Piedmont Healthcare, managing a team of six and leading the Governance, Risk, and Compliance program. Elizabeth's earlier career includes positions at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as a GRC Specialist, State Farm as Lead IT Analyst - GRC, and roles in educational technology and instructional design at the American Academy of Pediatrics, McGraw-Hill Higher Education, and DeVry University. Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in Communications and an MBA in Business, along with a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design.
