Katie Avebe

Katie Avebe is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations, production, and education. Currently serving as a Manager in TODAY Operations at NBCUniversal since July 2017, Katie has held various roles including Production & Operations Manager and Producer. As Co-Founder of Royal Family Productions, Inc., established in 2007, Katie leads a 501(c)3 theatre company focused on innovative productions and educational programs, while managing grant writing and fundraising efforts. Previous experience includes teaching film to students at Our World Neighborhood Charter Schools from 2014 to 2017 and developing a children's ministry program at The River Group, Inc. Additionally, Katie held a role at the American Red Cross Greater New York, where significant contributions included managing volunteer programs and leading a major government-funded training initiative. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Film & Television from Boston University.
