Kenny Chen

Kenny Chen is an accomplished Principal Video Engineer at NBCUniversal, having progressed through various roles since May 2013. In this position, Kenny designed and implemented the first-ever Cloud Editing environment for News Digital and automated end-to-end cloud workflows. Previous roles include responsibilities as a Lead Media Engineer, where Kenny managed customized video/audio workflows for VOD and live content, and as an Associate Media Engineer, where tasks included managing transcoding hardware migrations and developing live stream events. Earlier experience as an IT Intern at Gensler provided foundational skills in audio/video conference support and desktop troubleshooting. Kenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Buffalo State University.
