Neil Engel is an accomplished show designer and creative consultant with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. From 1990 to 1993, Neil Engel served as Manager of Art and Design at Landmark Entertainment Group, overseeing various creative projects. Engel worked at Walt Disney Imagineering from 1996 to 2008, holding roles as designer/producer and Art Director for notable attractions such as the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Haunted Mansion. Engagements at NBCUniversal included roles as Show Producer for new projects in the Blue Sky Group and for the relaunch of The Incredible Hulk Coaster, as well as serving as Creative Director for attraction show quality. Since retiring in 2020, Engel has operated as a freelance creative consultant through Neil I Engel Associates. Engel holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from Florida Technological University.
