Hussein Zeineddin

Hussein Zeineddin, CFA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Hussein is currently the Chief Operating Officer at NBK Capital. Prior to this role, they held a variety of positions at Kuwait Financial Centre - Markaz, including EVP - Head of MIS & Operations, EVP - Head of Risk Management & Internal Audit, SVP - Head of Compliance, Head of Derivatives & Structured Products, and Finance Analyst. In these roles, they played a key role in developing and implementing IT and digitalization strategies, building core wealth management solutions, managing risk and internal audit functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and establishing options trading rules. Additionally, they administered the operations of a $200M equity fund and contributed to the development of the options market in Kuwait and GCC.

Hussein Zeineddin, CFA holds a CFA designation from the CFA Institute, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. Hussein also earned a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the American University of Beirut from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Beirut Arab University from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Hussein has completed various certifications in areas such as business process design, leading complex projects, fintech, cybersecurity, and digital transformation from institutions like Massachusetts Institute of Technology, UC Berkeley Executive Education, and Harvard University.
