Chief Deposit Officer at NBKC Bank

Melissa Eggleston is currently the Chief Deposit Officer at NBKC Bank. Prior to their current role, Melissa served as the Director of Private Banking at Alterra Bank from August 2013 to August 2016.

In their previous role, Melissa was responsible for taking an idea and turning it into strategy, building a Private Banking platform and team from the ground up, and achieving overall financial performance for the Bank’s deposit growth goal. In addition, they were responsible for hiring and firing, strategic decision making, coaching and training of Private Banking team members, driving collaboration between business lines, and fostering continued growth for the Bank and the Private Banking group.

Under Melissa’s leadership, the Private Banking group achieved net revenue and growth targets, and they were also responsible for management of the Bank’s high profile client relationships and new business development.

Melissa has been in the banking industry for over 20 years and has held various positions during their career. Melissa began their career as a teller and has since progressed through the ranks to their current role as Chief Deposit Officer. Melissa is a highly respected leader in the banking industry and is known for their dedication to their work and their team.

After graduating from Mayville High School, Melissa Eggleston attended Purdue University Northwest where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Melissa then went on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to earn an Executive Leadership Certificate from the Graduate School of Banking.

Melissa Eggleston reports to Brian Unruh, CEO. Melissa Eggleston works with Scott Ramon - CTO, Rich Balman - Chief Lending Officer, and Jessica Eggers - Chief People Officer.
