Asheesh Bedi

Head Orthopaedic Consultant at NBPA

Asheesh Bedi's work experience began in 2009 when they joined the University of Michigan as a physician. Asheesh later became the Director of the Michigan Center for Human Athletic Medicine and Performance (MCHAMP). In 2015, they became the Team Orthopedic Physician for the Detroit Lions. In 2016, they took on the roles of Head Orthopaedic Team Physician for the University of Michigan Athletic Department and Head Orthopaedic Consultant for the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA).

Asheesh Bedi completed their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biophysics from Northwestern University. Asheesh then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Michigan Medical School. Following this, Asheesh Bedi joined the University of Michigan Medical School again to complete an Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program. Later, they undertook a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery, specializing in the field of Sports Medicine.
