Hannah Nelson has an extensive background in educational and administrative roles. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant and Team Leader Assistant at the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina since February 2020, Hannah previously worked as a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School from May 2018 to February 2019. Hannah also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Student Assistant at Liberty University from August 2016 to August 2017, where responsibilities included student interaction and grading assignments. Earlier, in a supervisory capacity as Camp Supervisor for Loudoun County Government in the summer of 2016, Hannah led day trip camps for children and oversaw a team of camp counselors. Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Human Services and a Bachelor of Science in Music and Worship, both from Liberty University.

The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSCNC) was established in 1830 as a way for churches to accomplish more for God’s kingdom by working together. There are about 2,800 N.C. Baptist partnering churches and more than 70 associations that make up the state convention.
