Amanda Roberson

Director Contract Management at NC Department of Health and Human Services

Amanda Roberson, JD, CSM, DMIN, NCCM has a diverse work experience. Starting in 1997, they worked as an Attorney At Law at the Law Office of Amanda S. Roberson PLLC until 2019. In 2018, they also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Durham Technical Community College. Since then, Amanda has been working with the NC Department of Health and Human Services, where they held various roles. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Contract and Procurement Manager for Medicaid. In 2020, they became the Interim Associate Director for NC Medicaid Contracts and Procurement, and from 2021 to 2022, they were the Associate Director for Medicaid Contracts and Procurement. Currently, Amanda is the Director of Contract Management at the NC Department of Health and Human Services.

Amanda Roberson, JD, CSM, DMIN, NCCM has an educational background that includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1993-1996), a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Management from Howard University (1989-1993), and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Apex School of Theology (2015-2018). Additionally, they completed coursework for a PMI certification (PMP) at Wake Technical Community College (2018-2019). Amanda also holds certifications as a North Carolina Contract Manager and a Certified Scrum Master (obtained in February 2020).
