Barbara Minton

Barbara Minton currently serves as a Training and Education Specialist at the NC Department of Health and Human Services since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Early Childhood Division Curator at Bedford Falls Book Fairs, and Employment Specialist within the TEACCH Employment Services Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from November 2017 to December 2021. In these positions, Barbara facilitated job placements, supported community inclusion, and developed tailored educational materials. Additional experience includes career coaching, teaching, and mentoring across various educational and therapeutic settings, with a focus on supporting individuals with autism and other developmental needs. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and multiple certificates in early childhood education.
