Bethany McDermott

Bethany McDermott, MHA, ICP, CLSSYB has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Bethany (Beth) started their career at Blue Cross NC in 2013, where they held various positions including Project Program Coordinator and Auditor- Service Quality. In these roles, they were responsible for coordinating and supporting projects and programs, resolving issues, and managing departmental functions. In 2019, they joined the NC Department of Health and Human Services as a Quality Management Specialist, and later transitioned to the role of Associate Director Quality Management. With their expertise in quality management and project coordination, Bethany has made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Bethany (Beth) McDermott, MHA, ICP, CLSSYB has a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Mount Olive and an Associate in Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Wake Technical Community College. Bethany (Beth) is currently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Appalachian State University. Additionally, they hold an Agile ICP Certification from ASPE, a Cprime Company, which was obtained in 2019.
