Dabreon Davis

Dabreon Davis is an emerging professional in public health with a Bachelor's degree from Queens University of Charlotte. Currently serving as an Administrative Intern in the Office of the Secretary at the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Dabreon conducts research on the state's opioid crisis and Medicaid expansion efforts. As a Grass Roots Support VISTA for AmeriCorps, engagement in community initiatives continues. Previous experience includes a Telehealth Equity and Digital Literacy Internship at Johns Hopkins Medicine and participatory roles at Charlotte AHEC, where collaboration on projects addressing social determinants of health occurred. Additional roles include academic support and community engagement positions at Queens University and an international internship at Academia Latinoamericana de Español.
