Shanae Godley, MPH, has extensive experience in public health and program management, currently serving as the Plans, Training, Exercise, and Evaluation Officer and Emergency Management Specialist at the NC Department of Health and Human Services since July 2013. Previously, Godley worked as a Public Health Program Consultant in the same department and as a Program Manager at North Carolina A&T State University, where responsibilities included coordinating STEM education initiatives across multiple counties. Additional roles include serving as a Program Manager at Success Dynamics CDC and a Public Health Educator Specialist at Hertford County Public Health Authority, along with experience as Executive Director of Pitt County AIDS Service Organization. Godley holds a B.S. in Community Health Education and Promotion and an MPH in Public Health Administration and Data Analysis from East Carolina University, as well as a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University.
