Dean Arp

Dean Arp, P.E., S.E. serves as the President of Arp Engineering, Inc. since February 2003 and has been a State Representative in the North Carolina General Assembly since January 2013. Previous experience includes serving as a School Board Member for Union County Public Schools from February 2000 to February 2011 and working as a Project Engineer at RTWA/Engineers, Inc. from November 1993 to February 2003, Yates/Starnes Engineering, PA from September 1993 to November 1993, and ODELL from November 1988 to September 1993. Dean Arp began a career in engineering as an Assistant Engineer at Duke Energy Corporation in 1988. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Citadel.
