NC General Assembly
Jacob Davis serves as a Staff Attorney and Senior Legislative Analyst in the Bill Drafting Division of the North Carolina General Assembly since February 2019, providing legal counsel and drafting legislation to support the assembly's 170 members. Prior experience includes serving as a Magistrate Judge at the Wake County Magistrate's Office from November 2013 to January 2019, where responsibilities encompassed presiding over criminal hearings and appointments for indigent defendants. Jacob co-founded Project Worldview, a non-profit focused on cultural education, and has completed legal externships and clerkships, including the General Counsel's Office of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Eastern District of North Carolina Bankruptcy Court. Jacob holds a Juris Doctor from Campbell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
